This was a decent place to stay. The swim up pool needs a good cleaning the pool had a ring around the top of the pool. My wife refused to get in. The housekeeping staff could do a better job of ensuring there's clean linens and towels everyday. We called 3 out of 5 days for towels or missing items. The floors were swept but not mopped during our stay. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach which is very convenient.

We loved staying here. The rooms were huge, the price was affordable, the food was great, and the location was amazing. My family loved the pool, as it was enormous. My kids especially liked the waterside and the kids area. It’s wasn’t until our last day that we also realized there was a pool in front of the hotel too. Both my wife and I got massages and they were fantastic. The room service took a bit of time (peak hours) but the foods was great.

First impression was wow. The architecture, rooms and pool were nice. However there is something strange with this place. Everything seems a little abandoned - like a post apocalyptic movie. Pool bars partially not open. Used plates and glasses just stand there for hours and not cleaned up. Only few sunbeds which were clearly not enough. They were messy. Our late night check in was horrible - the staff did not give a briefing and we were carrying our bags several times back and forth to the lobby because of being given a wrong room and thirdly because card did not work. (walking distance to reception is very long). We were not explained properly which ways to use so we got wet with our luggages because of rain. Then I needed to insist on their assistance because I was not willing to walk a fourth time the long hallway to the reception. Staff was really not happy about my insist and we even had a small discussion about how to use the room card properly (which is ridiculous). Overall the service was really horrible. Even if you order something most of staff seem demotivated. And this unfortunately destroyed the whole nice impression of the area.

This hotel is in serious need of some TLC. The rooms are big but need modernisation. The bedding was old and worn and towels were stained with blood. The Air Con was so loud that it had to be off in order to sleep. The pool is massive but in need of repair. Most of the water features do not work. The kids pool features do not work - tipping bucket seized for example. The wider grounds are poorly kept and again need major overhaul. The restaurant, albeit dated, served great choice and what came out of the kitchen was good. The beach across from the hotel stunning as all Thai beaches are. The wider area is very quiet, so if you wish to eat away from the hotel it’s a taxi journey. This hotel is not value for money and you will be disappointed if you have booked this for anymore than a night.

Its a very ornate building which we fell for, however we didn't realise how big a hotel it is; the passage to the rooms must be +500m long. Felt like a government hospital. They do have a cart to transport u but there are wait times. Breakfast is an absolute sausage factory, horrific, felt like a mess hall. Best thing about it is the proximity to the airport. Which depending on traffic is 20min away by taxi. The worst thing was the access to WiFi. There's a 20min or so walk to the nearest village.

This hotel is the perfect place to 'end' your trip at. Close to the airport, and 10 second walk to a sprawling, beautiful beach that's empty most days. There's not much food nearby, but the hotels restaurant made the best pad Thai and Tom yum soup I had all week! I couldn't recommend this place more, it was a wonderful place to unwind after a busy trip filled with travels.
